Travelling Teddies

Welcome to Room 2's travelling Teddies...

Banana Slipperhead  and Scruffy!!

The two teddies are travelling around the homes and families of Room 2.

They both have a book which will come to your house when they come to stay.

Please look after them and bring them back to school the next day.

In the book you can draw and write about the adventures you have together.

Then when you come in you can share your adventures with the rest of us.

Scruffy was attacked by a real dog at Will's.

Banana Slipperhead watched a movie with Mahad.

Can't wait to hear what else they get up to!!!!

Healthy Eating

Solana's beautiful birthday cupcakes

 Solana was six.  She made these cupcakes with her mum.  She shared the cupcakes with us.

 They were beautiful. They looked like flowers.  There were some marshmellows.  There were petals.
There were smarties on them.  They had icing on them and eggs in them. 

 They were yummy.  They were scrumptious. They tasted like ice-cream. They were delicious.

The two new people tried some.  Noah and Alexandra are new in room 2.

Room 2 Rangitoto

Gigi said, "We went up Rangitoto. 
It was tiring."

Yaelle said, "The volcano looks enormous!"

Renzo said, "The track was slippery because the rocks were small and moved around."

"We saw all the trees around the volcano,"
said Georgia.

"We saw a big round hole in the top."  said Solana.

"That's the crater," said Mahad.

"We got a good view of Auckland from the top," said Joe.

Landforms

Today we got together with room 8 to talk about our topic "Landforms".

We got interested in why the landforms don't fall off the planet.
